We recently hosted a fundraiser with the Comedy Works and given the sold out audience, the delicious food, the super attentive waitstaff and having every detail taken care of, we look forward to making this an annual event! I'll now be looking into hosting our holiday party here too! I've been to shows here before and whether with a small group or a large crowd, have never been disappointed!
Had a great experience seeing Gary Gulman at the Comedy Works Saratoga. Greeted at the door by friendly host; food was delicious and server was very attentive. Opening act was strong and Gary was just hilarious. Even though show was sold out, didn't feel over crowded. A great night out at a very reasonable price.
My husband and I had so much fun a few weeks ago when we went to see a few comedians here. The venue is like a little secret gem.... I’ve been thinking of going back hopefully sooner rather than later. A great way to relax and have fun! Laughter is essential
Love this place. Very entertaining and a nice change of pace for people looking for nighttime entertainment. They have actual comedy stars and comedians well known from television and movies. Glad to have them in Saratoga!
We never imagined we would laugh so hard .. it was just what we needed after a deployment homecoming!
Comedian was Fabulous! Can't remember Name..SORRY!! House was jam packed! Was Veterans and spouses..friends..a super night!!
In 1981 Tom Nicchi converted a basement space below his restaurant (named “The Deli Works”) into a comedy club just as the stand-up comedy “boom” was hitting. He named it “The Comedy Works” and it was an immediate success with shows hosted seven nights a week. Often times the club would sell out and guests would sit in the stair well just to listen to the shows. During the 1980s & 1990s comics like Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld, Dennis Leary and Chris Rock all performed at The Comedy Works.
After 25 years Tom handed over the reigns to his son Tommy in 2006, who relocated the club to Broadway in Saratoga Springs. In addition to the regular club operation (open 52 weeks a year), The Comedy Works now presents theater shows across the country, runs a talent management division, and produces stand-up comedy tv/film specials.
The Comedy Works, now in our 38th year, is widely recognized as one of the best small clubs in America.
